ACUA is a Psych Pop/ Alternative band from Cologne, Germany. They have been active since 2018 and built up a remarkable international reputation before the pandemic, going on tour in Canada from Toronto to Vancouver. In early 2020 they performed 8 shows in Japan across various cities, from Tokyo to Takamatsu. In addition to being a support act for FKJ, Japanese House and OMNI, they played over 50 shows in the run up to their debut album.
Now they continue their journey with the new single “Ghost Train”, on the way to their 2nd album coming out in Summer 22 on Papercup Records.

With their debut album “The End of Pangea“, the Cologne-based 5-piece Band Paul & The Microcosm are breaking down genre barriers between Krautrock, Garage Punk, Noise Rock, and Neo Psychedelia.
“Something about their cool but fun charm hits home with fans of bands such as The Strokes and The Libertines“, “A 5-piece rock band [...] who keep on pulling it out of the bag with their incredible blend of indie-rock, garage punk and neo-psych“.
Since the album’s release in September of 2021, Paul & The Microcosm have also supported countless critically acclaimed international bands, such as Global Charming, The Clockworks, and YinYin.

With growing interest in finding the cross-overs of software-development, music production and artistry, she continues working on her first fully self-produced EP to be released in fall 2022. Her new songs play with the concept of reality and authenticity in music and she takes inspiration from the modern alternative future-pop sounds of Oklou, Sega Bodega, and Eartheater.
