Brutalism is not concerned with the material as such but rather the quality of the material, that is with the question: what can it do?

Brutalist architecture is being characterised by the following three criteria: a clear exhibition of structure, the valuation of materials as found and its memorability as an image.
Ultimately we thought of these as an adequate description of how we want our music to be perceived.
