Sherard Ingram aka DJ Stingray is a cornerstone in the history of Detroit Techno and Electro. He's one of the founders of Urban Tribe (with Carl Craig, Kenny Dixon Jr. aka Moodymann and Anthony Shake Shakir) and not at last he was Drexciya's official Tour-DJ. The legendary production duo Drexciya is until today one of the most influential projects in the field of Electro and Detroit Techno. Just as the records of Drexciya are legendary, the DJ-Sets of DJ Stingray are the stuff of legends. Always in a ski mask to keep his anonymity he presents an uncompromising mixing style ranging beyond 130bpm. The fast paced DJ-Sets combine Electro, Acid, Industrial and Detroit Techno to form a whole new "High Tech Soul".
